The Gospel

God's Plan to Unravel and Remake Your Life

At Unraveled and Remade we believe that no matter how broken or tangled your story feels, Jesus can make you new. The Gospel - the Good News - is God's plan to bring peace, forgiveness, and new life to all who believe.

God's Purpose: Life and Relationship

God created you to know Him personally and to live in the fullness of His love. His desire is not religion, but relationship - a life filled with peace, purpose, and eternal joy.

the Bible says:

"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

- Romans 5:1

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."

- John 3:16

Jesus says "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly"

- John 10:10

But if that's God's plan, why do so many people feel far from him?

The Problem - Sin Separates Us

We were created to live in harmony with God - but our sin - choosing our way over His - broke that relationship.

Sin isn't just doing bad things; it's living apart from the One who gives us life.

The Bible says:

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

- Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

-  Romans 6:23

Our sin creates a gap between us and God - a gap that we cannot bridge on our own.

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."

- Proverbs 14:12

"Your sins have departed you from your God."

- Isaiah 59:2

But the story doesn't end there.....

God's Solution: The Cross of Christ

Jesus Christ - God's Son - came into the world to take our place. He was born of a virgin birth, he lived a life we couldn't (sinless) and died the death we deserved.

Through His death and resurrection, He bridged the gap between us and God.

The Bible says:

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

- 1 Timothy 2:5

"Christ suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteousness, the He might bring us to God."

- 1 Peter 3:18

"But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

- Romans 5:8

Through Jesus, God made a way for what was unraveled by sin to be remade by grace.

Our Response: Repent, Receive and Follow Jesus

God offers this new life freely - but we must respond personally. Salavation isn't about earning; it's about receiving what Jesus has already done for us.

The Bible says:

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the doors, I will come in."

- Revalation 3:20

"To all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."

- John 1:12

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

- Romans 10:9

Here is how you can respond:

  • Admit your need - that you're a sinner who needs forgiveness.
  • Believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again to save you.
  • (Repent) turn from your sin and  trust Him fully.
  • Follow Jesus and trust Him to be your Lord and Savior.
